Room material calculator: paint, tiles, flooring, drywall, plaster, skirting. Visitors get a shopping list in whole packs. 10 languages.

== Description ==

Give the visitors of your renovation company or building-materials shop a calculator they will actually use.
They type the size of a room, the doors and the windows — and get a shopping list rounded to whole packs:

* **Paint** — coats and coverage, and the cheapest mix of cans (1 l, 2.5 l, 5 l, 10 l or your own sizes).
* **Tiles** — tile size, joint, m² per box: pieces and boxes, with cutting waste.
* **Laminate and floor panels** — m² per pack; straight, diagonal or herringbone laying sets the usual waste.
* **Drywall** — standard EU board sizes or your own, one to three layers, plus rough screws and metal profiles.
* **Plaster and levelling compound** — consumption per mm, thickness and bag size.
* **Skirting boards** — room perimeter minus doors, in pieces of your length.

The calculator handles several rooms with one combined shopping list, L-shaped rooms, bays and alcoves,
and walls minus doors and windows. Visitors can print the list or copy it into a message.

It is the same calculation engine as the UZYTAK Materials app for Android, used by tradespeople on site.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does it send any data anywhere? =

No. Everything is calculated in the visitor's browser. The plugin makes no external requests and sets no cookies.

= Can I show only one calculator, for example only tiles? =

Yes. In the block settings tick only the materials you want, or use `[uzytak_materials materials="tiles"]`.

= Does it work with WPML, Polylang or TranslatePress? =

Yes. With the language setting "Language of the site" each language version of a page shows the calculator in its language.

= Imperial units? =

Not yet. The calculator is made for European metric sizes (m, mm, m², litres, kg).

= Why are drywall screws and profiles marked as rough? =

They are a typical guide (about 25 screws per m² per layer; about 2 m of profile per m² of wall and 3.2 m per m² of ceiling). Follow the system maker's layout for exact numbers.
