Inside the app

Made for people who buy the material
Finishers and renovation crews
Measure the flat once, and in the evening you know how many tins, boxes and packs to order — and what goes into the quote.
Small renovation companies
One project per job, the same calculation every time, a PDF shopping list for the wholesaler or as an attachment to the quote.
Homeowners doing it themselves
Paint the bedroom, tile the bathroom, lay the floor in the hall: know before the DIY store how much to put in the trolley.
Rooms the way they really are
Most rooms are not perfect rectangles. You describe a room with a few numbers, and the app keeps floor, walls and skirting right.
Length × width × height
The main rectangle and the wall height in metres. Floor area, ceiling area and perimeter appear at once.
L-shapes, bays and alcoves
Cut out a missing corner for an L-shaped room, or add a bay or alcove. For really odd shapes you can type the perimeter yourself.
Doors and windows
Width × height × count. They come off the wall area; door widths also come off the skirting.
Areas at a glance
Floor = ceiling, perimeter, gross and net wall area, skirting length — per room and for the whole project.
Not a drawing app: there is no free-form floor plan. A room is a rectangle with parts added or cut out, which covers most flats and houses.
Six calculators, results in whole packs
Paint
Coats, coverage per litre, tin sizes (1 / 2.5 / 5 / 10 l, editable). The app picks the cheapest mix of tins — with your prices, or the smallest leftover without them.
Tiles
Tile size in mm, joint, waste and m² per box → number of tiles and whole boxes. Walls, floor or a custom area.
Laminate and floor panels
m² per pack and the laying pattern: straight, diagonal or herringbone, each with its own editable waste.
Drywall
Board size (1200×2600 and others), 1 or 2 layers, waste → boards. Screws and metal profiles as a rough guide.
Plaster and levelling compound
kg per m² per mm from the bag, thickness, 20 or 25 kg bags, waste → kilograms and whole bags.
Skirting boards
Perimeter minus door widths, piece length and waste → metres and whole pieces.
A shopping list you can take to the wholesaler
All rooms of a project end up in one shopping list:
- identical materials from different rooms merged into one line
- quantity needed and what to buy: tins, boxes, packs, bags, pieces
- with Pro: price per pack, line cost and the total for the job
- with Pro: an A4 PDF with the room summary — floor, walls, perimeter, skirting
- as text for a message, or straight into UZYTAK Job Price for your quote
PRO The PDF shopping list, prices and totals are part of Pro. The list on screen and text sharing are free.

How it works
Create a project
One project per job: a flat, a house, a single room. Name and client note if you want.
Measure the rooms
Length, width, height, parts added or cut out, doors and windows. The areas are worked out as you type.
Add materials and buy
Pick a material and a surface, check the result, open the shopping list — and share it as text or, with Pro, as a PDF with prices.
Quoting the job? Pair it with UZYTAK Job Price
Materials tells you how much to buy. UZYTAK Job Price turns work and material into a quote with your prices. Send the areas per room and the material list from Materials as text and paste them into Job Price — or into any quote you use.
What the app does not do
- All results are estimates. Always check coverage, pack sizes and waste in the manufacturer’s data before you buy.
- Coverage and consumption differ by product and surface: change the defaults to what is printed on your tin, box or bag.
- Screws and metal profiles for drywall are a rough guide only — follow the layout of the system manufacturer.
- It is not a drawing tool: no free-form floor plans, no photos of the room, no 3D.
- Metric only: metres, millimetres, litres and kilograms. No feet and inches.
- No screed, insulation, wallpaper or tile adhesive calculators yet. No cloud and no sync between phones.
We would rather say it plainly than sell you something that does not fit.

Built for our own work first
Every UZYTAK app starts as a tool our own company needs in its everyday work. On our renovation jobs the quantities used to be worked out on a scrap of paper — and then we stood in the store with one box of tiles too few or three tins of paint too many. Materials is the tool we made for that: measure the rooms once, get the packs right, and take one list to the store. We use it ourselves, and now you can too.
UZYTAK
Pay once. Use forever.
Many calculator apps show an ad after every result or want a monthly subscription. UZYTAK Materials has no ads, the free version has every calculator, and Pro is a single payment in Google Play — no subscription, updates included. Google Play shows the price in your currency.

Questions and answers
Is UZYTAK Materials really free?
Yes. The free version has one project with as many rooms as you need, every calculator, the shopping list on screen and text sharing — and no ads. Pro is an optional one-time purchase.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Pro is one payment in Google Play: €9.99, or the price Google Play shows in your currency. You pay once and keep it, with updates.
How exact are the results?
They are estimates, rounded up to whole packs. Coverage and pack sizes differ by product, so change the defaults to what the manufacturer prints and always check before you buy.
Which pack sizes does the app use?
Common European ones as defaults — for example 2.5 and 10 litre tins, 60×60 tiles, 1.44 m² boxes, 2.22 m² panel packs, 1200×2600 boards, 25 kg bags. You can change every value.
Can I draw a floor plan?
No. A room is a rectangle with corners cut out or bays added, and you can type the perimeter yourself for odd shapes. That covers most rooms without drawing.
Does it work in feet and inches?
No, the app is metric only: metres, millimetres, litres and kilograms.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your phone. There is no account and no cloud, and UZYTAK receives nothing. Data leaves the phone only when you share a list or a PDF yourself.
Which phones are supported?
Android 8 or newer.
