Black out PESEL numbers, accounts and addresses — for real, not just for show

A black rectangle drawn in an ordinary PDF editor can often be removed and the text underneath read. Here, the data found is burned into a new image of the page, and the hidden text is no longer in the file. The document never leaves your computer.

Questions

How it works and what we do not promise

Can you see my files?

No. Files are encrypted in your browser before anything is sent. The key lives only in the link, in the part after the # sign, which the browser never sends to the server. All we store is an encrypted string of bytes.

What if I lose the link?

No one — including us — will be able to open those files. Send them again with a new link. The old one will disappear on its own after the expiry date.

Can the blacking out be undone?

No. We save the new pages as an image with black boxes — there is no text left underneath in the file. Ordinary black rectangles in a PDF can often be removed; here they cannot.

Does blacking out send my document to you?

No. The document is opened and saved only in your browser. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded.

Is this enough for GDPR compliance?

The tools and our implementations remove typical technical risks: sending documents by email, data in published files, tracking without consent. They do not replace your company's GDPR documentation or legal advice.
