In short
UZYTAK Archive works offline on your phone. There is no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your archives and files stay on your phone; UZYTAK does not collect, receive, share or sell any data. The only exception is an optional partner promo code (see below).
Your archives and files
An archive you open is copied into the app's private cache so it can be read. Extracted files and new archives are written only to the folder you choose. The app deletes its working copies from the cache on the next start; the Recent list (name, size, location) stays on the phone.
Access to files
The app does not ask for access to all your storage. It receives only the files you pick in the file picker, with "Open with" or "Share", and writes only to the folder you allow in Android's folder picker. You can withdraw that access at any time in Android settings.
Passwords
Archive passwords are used only on your phone to decrypt or encrypt archives. They are never stored and never sent anywhere.
Notifications
During long jobs (extracting, creating) the app shows a progress notification so that Android does not stop the work. It contains no ads and is not analysed.
Data we do not collect
No account is needed. We collect no personal data, no file lists, no locations, advertising identifiers or usage analytics. There is no server, no cloud and no sync.
Purchases
The Pro purchase and optional tips are processed through Google Play Billing under Google's privacy policy; the app uses the internet only for this and receives from Google Play only the confirmation of the purchase.
Partner promo codes
Only if you choose to enter a partner promo code, the app sends that code to our server partners.uzytak.com to check it. If you then buy Pro at the discount, we send the code and Google Play’s purchase confirmation (purchase token) to this server. We verify the purchase with Google and pay the partner their commission. No name, e-mail or documents are sent. This data is used only for this purpose, is not shared, and is deleted after settlement, at the latest after 5 years (accounting retention). Deletion requests: support@uzytak.com. If you installed this app from a partner’s Google Play link, the app reads only that partner code from Google Play once at the first start (Install Referrer) and handles it the same way; when you open another UZYTAK app from this one, the code is passed on in the Google Play link.
Deleting data
You can clear the Recent list in the app. Uninstall the app, or clear its data in Android settings, and the list, settings and cache are removed from the phone. Your own files and archives in your folders are not touched.
Children
UZYTAK Archive collects no data from anyone, so it does not knowingly collect any data from children either.
