In short
UZYTAK CV keeps your CVs, cover letters and photo on your own phone. There is no account, and UZYTAK does not collect, receive, share or sell any CV data. The app contains no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The only exception is an optional partner promo code (see below).
CVs, cover letters and photos
Everything you enter — personal details, work experience, education, languages, the photo and the cover letters — is stored only in the app's private storage on your phone. The app sends no CV data anywhere. If you enter other people's details (for example references), you are responsible for having their permission.
Photo without permissions
To take a photo, the app opens your phone's camera app; the app itself has no camera permission. An existing photo is picked in Android's photo picker; the app receives only the photo you choose. A backup file is opened in the system file dialog. The app does not ask for access to storage, contacts or location.
Sharing PDFs and text
CV and cover letter PDFs leave the phone only when you share them yourself through Android's share menu — for example by e-mail, a messenger, a cloud drive, a job site app or a printer; the terms and privacy policy of the service you choose then apply. When you copy the CV as plain text, it goes to your phone's clipboard and you paste it yourself.
Data we do not collect
No account is needed. We collect no personal data, contacts, locations, advertising identifiers or usage analytics. There is no cloud storage, no server for your CVs and no sync between phones.
Backup
The backup file (Pro) contains all your CVs, cover letters and photos. It is created only when you export it, and you decide where it is stored or who it is sent to.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Google Play (Google Play Billing) under Google's privacy policy; the app receives from Google Play only the confirmation of your purchase. Apart from this and the optional partner promo code below, the app does not use the internet.
Partner promo codes
Only if you choose to enter a partner promo code, the app sends that code to our server partners.uzytak.com to check it. Only the app’s identifier (UZYTAK CV) goes with the code — nothing from your CV. If you then buy Pro at the discount, we send the code and Google Play’s purchase confirmation (purchase token) to this server. We verify the purchase with Google and pay the partner their commission. No name, e-mail or documents are sent. This data is used only for this purpose, is not shared, and is deleted after settlement, at the latest after 5 years (accounting retention). Deletion requests: support@uzytak.com. If you installed this app from a partner’s Google Play link, the app reads only that partner code from Google Play once at the first start (Install Referrer) and handles it the same way; when you open another UZYTAK app from this one, the code is passed on in the Google Play link.
Deleting data
You can delete CVs, cover letters and photos in the app. Uninstall the app, or clear its data in Android settings, and all data is removed from your phone. Files you shared or saved as a backup earlier are in your hands and those of the recipients.
Children
UZYTAK CV collects no data from anyone, children included: everything entered stays on the phone where it was entered.
