In short
UZYTAK Docs works offline on your PC. There is no account, no ads, no analytics, no telemetry and no tracking. Your documents stay on your PC; UZYTAK does not collect, receive, share or sell any data.
Your files
The app opens a file only when you open it yourself — with “Open file”, by dragging it into the window, or with “Open with” or a double-click. Files stay where they are and are saved only where you choose. Nothing is uploaded.
What the app stores on your PC
Settings, the list of recent and pinned files (their names and locations), open tabs and signatures you save for PDFs are stored only in the app's data folder on your PC. You can remove entries from the recent files list in the app.
Parts of Windows the app uses
E-books and the word processor are displayed inside the app with Microsoft Edge WebView2; the app serves them from your PC and no web content is loaded. To make PDFs from documents, the app uses Microsoft Edge locally on your PC, without opening any website. Printing goes through the Windows print dialog and your printer driver.
Data we do not collect
No account is needed. We collect no personal data, no file names or contents, no locations, advertising identifiers, usage statistics or crash reports. There is no cloud storage, no server and no sync between devices.
Error log
If something goes wrong, the app may write technical details of the error to a file named errors.log in the app's data folder on your PC. It never leaves your PC on its own: it reaches us only if you choose to e-mail it to support.
Links
Links in the app (website, e-mail to support) open your browser or e-mail program only when you click them.
Purchases
Pro is sold as an add-on in the Microsoft Store, and Microsoft handles the purchase under its privacy statement. We never see your payment details; the app only asks the Microsoft Store whether Pro is owned.
Deleting data
Uninstalling the app removes its data folder (settings, recent files list, signatures, error log) from your PC. Your own documents stay untouched.
Children
UZYTAK Docs collects no data from anyone, so it does not knowingly collect data from children.
