In short
UZYTAK ID Photo makes document photos on your own phone. There is no account, and UZYTAK does not collect, receive, share or sell your photos or any other personal data. The app contains no ads and no analytics by us. The only exception is an optional partner promo code (see below).
Photos are processed only on the device
Face detection, background removal, cropping and the automatic check run only on your phone. Your photos are not uploaded to UZYTAK or anyone else. The photo you are working on stays in the app's private storage until you save or share the result.
Camera and gallery
To take a photo, the app opens your phone's camera app; the app itself has no camera permission. An existing photo is picked in Android's photo picker; the app receives only the photo you choose. The app does not ask for contacts or location. Only on Android 8 and 9 does it ask for the storage permission, to save results to the gallery.
Saving and sharing
Photos, print sheets and files are saved only where you save them — in your phone's gallery, album “UZYTAK ID Photo” — or sent where you share them through Android's share menu (e-mail, a messenger, a cloud drive, a print service or an online application portal); the terms and privacy policy of that service then apply.
Google ML Kit
Face detection and background removal use Google ML Kit models that run on the device. Your photos are not sent to Google. Under Google's ML Kit terms, ML Kit may send anonymous usage and performance metrics (for example which feature was used and how long it took) to Google to run and improve the service; these metrics contain no photos. Data we do not collect
No account is needed. We collect no personal data, contacts, locations, advertising identifiers or usage analytics. There is no cloud storage and no server for your photos.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Google Play (Google Play Billing) under Google's privacy policy; the app receives from Google Play only the confirmation of your purchase. Apart from this, the ML Kit metrics above and the optional partner promo code below, the app does not use the internet.
Partner promo codes
Only if you choose to enter a partner promo code, the app sends that code to our server partners.uzytak.com to check it. Only the app’s identifier (UZYTAK ID Photo) goes with the code — no photos. If you then buy Pro at the discount, we send the code and Google Play’s purchase confirmation (purchase token) to this server. We verify the purchase with Google and pay the partner their commission. No name, e-mail or documents are sent. This data is used only for this purpose, is not shared, and is deleted after settlement, at the latest after 5 years (accounting retention). Deletion requests: support@uzytak.com. If you installed this app from a partner’s Google Play link, the app reads only that partner code from Google Play once at the first start (Install Referrer) and handles it the same way; when you open another UZYTAK app from this one, the code is passed on in the Google Play link.
Deleting data
Uninstall the app, or clear its data in Android settings, and everything the app stored is removed from your phone. Photos you saved to the gallery or shared stay where you put them; delete them there.
Children
UZYTAK ID Photo collects no data from anyone, children included. Photos of children stay on the phone where they were taken.
