Privacy Policy — UZYTAK Kilometr
Last updated: 4 October 2026
In short
UZYTAK Kilometr keeps your mileage log on your own phone. We do not collect, receive, share or sell any data, and the app contains no ads and no tracking. The only exception: partner promo codes you choose to enter (see below).
Location
The app uses your location only while a trip is being recorded — from the moment you tap Start until you tap Stop. During that time Android shows a notification. The app does not use location in the background. The positions are used only to measure the distance and are stored only on your phone.
Addresses
To turn the start and end coordinates into street names, the app uses the phone’s built-in Android geocoder (Google Play services). For this, Android may send those coordinates to Google under Google’s privacy policy; UZYTAK never receives them. You can always type or correct addresses yourself.
Trips, vehicles and reports
Trips, vehicles, odometer readings and the reports you create (PDF, CSV, ZIP) are stored only in the app’s private storage on your phone. They leave the phone only when you share or export a report yourself.
Data we do not collect
No account is needed. We collect no personal data, contacts, advertising identifiers or usage analytics, we receive no location data, and there is no cloud storage.
Purchases
The Pro purchase is processed by Google Play under Google’s privacy policy; we receive only what is needed to confirm your purchase.
Partner promo codes
Only if you choose to enter a partner promo code, the app sends that code to our server partners.uzytak.com to check it. If you then buy Pro at the discount, we send the code and Google Play’s purchase confirmation (purchase token) to this server. We verify the purchase with Google and pay the partner their commission. No name, e-mail or trip data are sent. This data is used only for this purpose, is not shared, and is deleted after settlement, at the latest after 5 years (accounting retention). Deletion requests: support@uzytak.com.
Deleting data
Uninstall the app, or clear its data in Android settings, and all trips, vehicles and reports are removed from your phone.
Children
UZYTAK Kilometr is a tool for adults who drive a vehicle and does not knowingly collect any data from children.
