In short
UZYTAK Scan scans and stores your documents on your own phone. We do not collect, receive, share or sell any data, and the app contains no ads and no tracking. The only exception: partner promo codes you choose to enter (see below).
Documents and files
Scanned pages, PDF and JPG files and the details you enter (title, type, date, amount, notes) are stored only in the app’s private storage on your phone. They leave the phone only when you share or export them yourself.
Scanning and text recognition
Scanning and text recognition run on the device through ML Kit in Google Play services (Google’s document scanner module). The app needs no camera permission: the scanner runs inside Google Play services and returns only the finished pages to the app.
Data we do not collect
No account is needed. We collect no personal data, contacts, location, advertising identifiers or usage analytics, and there is no cloud storage.
Purchases
The Pro purchase is processed by Google Play under Google’s privacy policy; we receive only what is needed to confirm your purchase.
Partner promo codes
Only if you choose to enter a partner promo code, the app sends that code to our server partners.uzytak.com to check it. If you then buy Pro at the discount, we send the code and Google Play’s purchase confirmation (purchase token) to this server. We verify the purchase with Google and pay the partner their commission. No name, e-mail or documents are sent. This data is used only for this purpose, is not shared, and is deleted after settlement, at the latest after 5 years (accounting retention). Deletion requests: support@uzytak.com.
Deleting data
Delete a document in the app, or uninstall the app, and its files are removed from your phone.
Children
UZYTAK Scan is a general-audience tool and does not knowingly collect any data from children.
